Accor the largest hotel operator is going to invest $1.5 billion in Brazil and open 25 hotels new hotel until 2016. They have also invest in Asia-pacific, the reason for these sudden investment in region where they are not used to put lots of money in is mostly because they are the biggest middle class growth. With the coming 2016 Olympics but also with the 2014 FIFA soccer competition coming it will give a good visibility to Accor but also allow more people to come to these events. An obvious economic growth of the country is visible with these two big events coming up.
